We Support Our Youth in Pursuit of Higher Education

Each Cathay Bank Foundation Scholarship Recipient to Receive a $1,000 Scholarship

We are delighted to announce the 20 exceptional winners of the 2023 Cathay Bank Foundation Scholarship. Out of a record-breaking number of 533 applications, these students have demonstrated remarkable academic achievements, leadership qualities, and community involvement. They represent the best and brightest of the nine states we serve and embody our commitment to supporting education and empowering future leaders.

With the award of $1,000, each scholarship winner will receive financial assistance towards their tuition costs as they embark on their journey as full-time college or university students this fall. We are proud to share their names and states below.

We are grateful to the Asian Pacific Community Fund for its diligent program administration since its inception in 2019 and to the Cathay Bank volunteers this year for their meticulous evaluation of the candidates. We wish all the winners continued success in their academic pursuits and beyond.
