Must be age 18 years or older, enrolled in any form of post-secondary education, and present a valid student ID. After 5 years the Student Advantage Checking account will be converted to a Personal Checking account and will be subject to the terms of that account, including the assessment of a monthly maintenance charge if the minimum daily balance requirement for the Personal Checking is not met. Ask for details.
Interest rate and Annual Percentage Yield (APY) may change after account opening without notice, at our discretion. The interest rate and APY paid depends on the balance tier into which the accounts’ end-of-day balance falls. The interest rate that corresponds to the balance tier is paid on the full collected balance in the account at the end of day. Fees can reduce the earnings on the account.
The monthly maintenance charge will be waived for each monthly statement cycle in which one qualifying direct deposit is received of $100 or more in total. A qualifying direct deposit is an electronic deposit, which may include salary, pension, government payments (such as Social Security) made by your employer or an outside agency using the ACH (Automated Clearing House) network.
